Wasser ist Nass
Eishun und ich besuchen meine Grosseltern in Deutschland. Der nahe gelegene See ist eine gute Gelegenheit um Eishun mit tieferem Wasser bekannt zu machen. Freudig ist er hinein gelaufen, bis ihm das Wasser zum Bauch kam, dann war er etwas skeptisch - wo ist der Boden? Mit Frauchen im Wasser und viel Überzeugungskraft hat Eishun dann doch seinen ersten Schwimmversuch unternommen.

Eishun and me are visiting my grandparents in Germany. The near lake is a good possibility to show Eishun deeper water. Joyfully he walked into the water until it reached his stomach, but then he looked sceptically - where is the ground? With me in the water and a lot of persuasion he did his first try to swim.

Longierworkshop
Bindung und Aufmerksamkeit fördern, Kommunikation stärken, geistige Auslastung und Distanzkontrolle, das alles soll Longieren mit dem Hund bewirken. Nachdem ich schon öfters darüber gelesen hatte, wollte ich das auch mal ausprobieren. Eishun wäre doch genau der Richtige dafür. Ein Workshop in der Gegend kam gerade richtig.
Als wir in der Reithalle ankamen war Eishuns Freude gross, andere Hunde und andere Menschen, das muss Action bedeuten.
Nach einer Einführung ging es an den Kreis. Schnell war Eishun zu motivieren und gerne hat er mitgemacht. Für ihn war schnell klar, das ist eine tolle Sache.
Nach dem Workshop war Eishun ganz müde, kein Wunder, denn Longieren erfordert sehr viel Konzentration.
Wir werden das Training zu Hause weiter führen und später bestimmt wieder einen Workshop besuchen dann vielleicht für Fortgeschrittene.

Promote the relationship and attention, strengthen communication, mental workload and distance control, all of that effects the lunging with a dog. I read this a few time and wanted to give it a try. Eishun should be the right dog to do that. A workshop in our region was set at the right time.
Eishun was very happy when we arrived at the riding hall. Other dogs and people, that had to mean action.
After the introduction we started with the workt at the "big circle". It was easy to motivate Eishun and he liked to do it. After a short time it was clear for him, that it's a great work.
Eishun was very tired at the end, no wonder, lunging needs very much concentration.
We will continue the training at home and we'll sure go to another workshop, maybe for advanced.

Junghunde - Abschlusswettkampf
Für Eishun und mich (und einige Andere) war es bereits Zeit, das Junghundetraining abzuschliessen. Am letzten Abend gab es einen Plauschwettkampf für alle. Ganz verschiedene Herausforderungen haben auf uns gewartet; Ein Tablett auf dem Kopf mit einem Glas Wasser über Sprünge balancieren, auf Dosen schiessen während der Hund frei abliegen musste, Sachen aus dem Wasser herausfischen, Sackhüpfen, Abrufen unter (sehr viel) Ablenkung, Theorie und noch einiges mehr.
Nach einem tollen Abend sind wir ganz müde geworden und mit Eishuns Leistung, 7.Rang von 24, sehr zufrieden.

balancing a tray on the head with a glass of water on the head over jumps, shoot at cans during the dog has to lay down and wait, to fish things out of the water, sack race, recall with (very much) distraction, theory and a lot of more.
After a great evening we were both tired, but very satisfied with Eishuns effort, 7th position from 24.

Eishun in "Die blubber Blasen"
Es ist Frühling, die Wiesen werden grün, die Stimmung ist heiter und dann... dann passiert es. Ein Monster dringt ins Eishunland. Doch Eishun weiss sein Land zu verteidigen, todesmutig stürtzt er sich in die ungezämten Fluten um dem Monster den Kampf anzusagen. Wird er auch dieses Mal erfolgreich sein?
